1) Limits: There are thousands of combinations of the various countries that they could do. The affirmative can always spike out of our DAs and CPs by clarifying in the 2AC. There’s no way for the negative to prepare, and this creates an unequal research burden. This is key to predictability and clash.
2) Ground: Specifying countries is key to our country PIC ground and our DAs based off of specific country. Their interpretation makes the affirmative an unstable advocacy.
3) Competing Interpretations: Make them have a specific definition that refutes our interpretation.
